Discover a rugged and remote location deep in a canyon north of the Phoenix/Scottsdale metro area. That location is Castle Hot Springs.
Castle Hot Springs is a place to get outside. It’s a place to escape the everyday without sacrificing the luxuries that bring you peace: morning yoga, farm to table dining, and hiking on a secluded mountain trail. Dreaming of dipping your toes in a hot spring? That’s included in your stay, too.
Reimagine what it means to go rural. Take the first step at Castle Hot Springs.
The Castle Hot Springs experience returns September 3. But you don’t have to wait that long to immerse yourself in our all inclusive resort oasis. Explore everything from the hot springs to Salvation Peak, all before you step onto our property.
You won’t encounter crowds here. Our resort sits on a 1,100 acre ranch, the definition of keeping your distance. But it’s also at the end of a 7.2-mile four wheel drive road, and that’s only after you’ve driven into the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Some guests arrival via helicopter, others arrange car service from the airport, and others still embrace the drive as an adventure of its own.
At the turn of the 20th century, our lodge was a draw for people who sought rejuvenation in the nearby springs. Travelers of today still seek rejuvenation at our all inclusive Arizona resort, though for the time being it won’t be the lodge they retreat to.
The lodge at Castle Hot Springs will be temporarily closed to promote physical distancing in all aspects of the hot springs experience. Treks to the hot springs will continue by way of our three other lodging options that dot the outskirts of our property.
Relaxation and luxury collide in our Spring Bungalows. Water from the rejuvenating hot springs supplies the Sonoma stone tub in each bungalow; you can immerse yourself in the water’s healing properties from your own private patio. When you’re not soaking in the hot spring, soak up desert views from your bungalow’s scenic patio.
Luxuriate beneath the desert sky, whether you look up to a smattering of stars or a blush-colored sunrise or sunset. Our Sky View Cabins sit on an elevated foundation, offering up views of the Sonoran Desert on one side and the full resort landscape on the other. These cozy cabins sleep two, making them ideal for a romantic retreat.
The Historic Cottage sleeps six, making it the largest of our detached accommodations. Whether you’re planning a wellness retreat or simply want to reconnect with friends, the Historic Cottage will keep you plugged into the ambiance of Castle Hot Springs. Sip coffee in the morning or wine in the evening on the spacious covered patio.
Everything you need to relax is included in your stay. That means that once you’ve arrived at the end of the road, you’ll have no reason to leave until checkout. Wade in the hot springs or walk amongst the rows of our farm, all part of your nightly rate.
Revive your soul in deep rock waters, replete with minerals like potassium and aluminum oxide, which promote the hydration of the skin. Let the everyday melt away as you float atop the hot spring’s surface, the only sound water rising from the earth below.
Meander among 130 varieties of fruits and vegetables, including over 30 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Touring the farm that fuels your meals is the best way to connect with the world around you. Immerse yourself in your food system like never before.
This ultimate culinary experience is included in your stay. Take a seat in our southwestern-inspired dining room, with tables arranged to promote distancing from other groups. Savor inventive meals made from the fruits and vegetables you just witnessed ripen on the vine.
Bring Harvest into your home until we reopen on September 3. Our award-winning chef reimagined his favorite recipes into make-at-home meal options. Test your kitchen know-how on anything from churros to cocktails.
