Castle Hot Springs provides enjoyment for all of your senses, from soaking in the healing hot springs to hikes under the sun and the tasty farm fresh menu of cuisine.
The resort’s culinary experience is offered from two different venues: Harvest Restaurant and the more casual Bar 1896. Both are housed in the main lodge, which is the central gathering place on property, with patio seating, fire pits and a wraparound porch with vistas of the resort’s magnificent grounds.
The main restaurant, Harvest, has both indoor and outdoor dining. Harvest also offers elevated service in the evenings and an intimate feel perfect for the nightly tasting menu offered. “The five-course tasting menu is the norm for dinner,” says general manager Kevin Maguire. Chefs create an elevated experience for guests to enjoy the bounty from the on-site farm.
The Farm Fresh Menu
The farm fresh menu rotates throughout the week,” explains Maguire. “We always want to showcase the high-quality ingredients and the skill of our chefs as they work with the farmers on a daily basis. It is the creativity of the culinary and farm team that brings exceptional flavor to the table.”
Menus develop seasonally based on the planned harvest. Adjustments are constant depending upon a variety of factors including main course offerings and guest preferences. Excellent wine service is available either based on personal preferences or selected by one of the expert sommeliers. On clear, balmy nights, seating on the large fire table can be especially magical.
The Harvest experience is a true reflection of the ethos of Castle Hot Springs, which is to fully take in the moment and to reconnect with and acknowledge the joy of life.
